What could I have done better for this shot? It was midday sun (1pm), but she was patient enough to stop picking berries for a moment and let her crazy aunt (me) take a photo. All things considered, I think it's a decent image. I like the little blackberry stain on her cheek. C&C is "berry" welcome. *groan*

I was looking at the blackberry juice and thinking "she's been IN those berries!" Then I read! LOL! You managed to catch the dirty face and the berries to give it meaning.

As Garrett Morris's SNL character used to say, "Berry picking been berry,berry goot to me!" Overall, not too bad for a casual portrait. Good lighting and good exposure on her hair. My son and I and a neighbor picked some Himalya blackberries this past weekend, and I got pretty scratched up. Buuut, we got 2.5 gallons of berries, so, well worth it.

Hehe.. This was at a berry farm on Sauvie Island near Portland, Oregon, and the blackberry vines had no thorns(!). My GF and I picked some strawberries and got all sunburned.
