I like this one Ron, but I agree the lighting is pretty harsh; can you dial back the contrast a tad and add a little fill in post?

This was a candid shot taken from a distance @ 200mm FL. She, a complete stranger was not aware of me taking her picture. The slant is the natural lay of the land, note the pole her bike is against is plumb. I consider the bike an essential component showing how she arrived at this peaceful place to read. I did not crop the image & applied medium auto contrast & +2 sharpening plus resizing in Photoscape.

I agree with brightening the shadows, however the two renditions presented above make the image look soft & OOF. In retrospect, I think I should have raised the camera so there is less grass in the foreground.

:greenpbl: Bikes are unisex unless the rider wears a skirt. Think about the why of the design of a womens' bike... so she can mount it in a skirt without cocking her leg into the air exposing her ankles to public view. :blushing:
