Thanks! Think about it, you never know what company I could end up working with for their advertisement. Which is why the headphone/iphone(ipod) shots were intentional.

For #2 I went and bought 2 bathrom rugs and put them together

Something with #1 seems off to me. Her pose, at least to me, does not seem flattering. Can't really put my finger on a specific reason though.

I like #2, the contrasts with the deep red rug and her blue clothes, and milky skin.

#2 had some potential, but I wish you would have closed in on her and rendered her almost twice as large, with less red carpet and dead space. I know you've said you like "negative space", but all that carpet there on the left is dead space...and what's up with the 1977 makeup style??? The blue eyeshadow makes me think of the movie Studio 54. Or Saturday Night Fever. Or my junior high school years. Go Bee Gees!

Personally I'd like to see the unedited number 2 turned 90 degrees.
I think there could be an interesting perspective there where it would be difficult to tell whether she was laying down or standing up...

On number 2 however I also like the contrast between red and blue

The image becomes MUCH more compelling and interesting with the woman rendered larger, and the background reduced in area; it is literally easier to see her, and see the details of the photo in this newly posted image.
