Well, you've certainly got the model for it! Very good framing/composition. Can't tell the sharpness on my computer, but they all look good from here.

They bring out the child's playfulness and joy. For shooting little ones, go down to their eye level -- looks better than them looking up to you.

You REALLY need to get down on her level.. the Dominance / Submissive sense kills these for me! Cute shots, though!

They look great, but like cgipson1 said, get on her level. For me, I personally think they might look even a tad better if they were slightly warmer.

Thanks for the CC. I know she was looking up at the camera, and many don't like the submissive pose. I just love her brown eyes looking up at me. But, I have some that are on her level. Take a look and see what you think about these....

I played with one of these! She is absoluley adorable!


I did crop and played with the color balance then added some contrast so make it "pop". I was only experimenting by all means im not saying mine is better, infact I think I went too far with the blue.

Thanks, I don't mind. I like to see how other people would edit. Especially since I am not up to par with my editing techniques.

I do have a reflector, speedlight and softbox, but this was an impromtu outing and I wanting to keep it simple to work on finding the "sweet spot" with my lense.

Thanks....I like the edit. I have elements 10, did you just lighten the shadows, or did you select the area and lighten? I'm still learning all the things I can do in elements.
