when you shot 1 & 2, do you still have room behind you? Too wide of a lens IMO. The last one is decent, but I would center her more.

Yep I had heaps of room. SHould I have stepped back and zoomed more?

It is fine to shoot wide if that is the look you are after. A lot of distortion and body parts wont look porpotional.

Need more light on the face. For the close up portraiture, try the clam shell technique.
