I enjoyed this sunrise out at Rowena Crest on the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. I could shoot flowers all day. These wild balsamroot sprout like crazy this time of year.

My balhead plate is severely failing, so it took about 5 minutes just to compose/level. This one was a very complicated blend with multiple images stacked for focus and exposure.

Do you ever take terrible photographs Majeed? Maybe we need to have a Majeed "blooper" thread so the rest of us don't have to feel so bad for ourselves.

My wife and I love balsamroot they were everywhere at the spot we got married and now are kind of "our" flower. A good and happy sign of spring and our marriage.

Thank you very much. the risk of getting ticks around these parts is petty real. Especially when you're sitting on the ground waiting for sunrise. Luckily no ticks!

What's boorifur? No ND here because I thought it would create more problems in post than if would solve.

How do you deal with ghosting with so many exposures blended?

It's an absolute nightmare, it's tedious.

That's so cool. That would be special to get married near a bunch of these flowers. I take plenty of bad pictures too, not to worry. You just don't see them because I lock them in the Lightroom dungeon forever, only to be used for their spare parts should the need arise. Haha.

Would you ever be willing to post a before and after shot?

I've never really done that before but wouldn't have an issue with it. With this shot, there are a lot of shots stacked for focus/exposure so it would be interesting to pick a "before".
