Potentially interesting scene but I had trouble finding a focus. I believe it would have been more compelling if you took a few steps closer and only included two or three of the men.

Yeah...this is a depressing scene. It has a depressing aspect to it. I would crop off the man with the backpack, and clone in the bit of wall, leaving the left edge at that ochre pillar.
