Ever seen "Clockwork Orange"?

Nope ! I've lived with guns all of my life and have never had stupid thoughts like the fool in that movie. Guns are not toys nor are they funny when one is pointed at you. I do agree that society is getting off balance concerning guns.

So you don't like any movies where guns are pointed at people? Even though you realize that they're all in jest? It's not about the guns, it's about society.

You have to look past how F'ed up it is to understand the true/deeper meanings/intentions of it's creator, just like "Clockwork Orange".

Could be funny. And yes, I am a gun owner, recreational pistol shooter, former avid upland bird and duck hunter, gun owner's rights advocate, and a staunch believer in firearms SAFETY and RESPONSIBLE gun ownership. And ya' know what? This movie looks like it **might** be funny as hell!!! Condemning it outright based on nothing more than a two-minute trailer is the height of knee-jerk reactionary attitude. It's a movie exploring a social issue. The movies portray firearms use, and getting shot in a ridiculous manner: people get shot with centerfire handgun rounds, and if they are a "hero", well in the film or TV show, "it's just a scratch." That is an unrealistic portrayal of the misuse of firearms that has created more careless and indifference toward the powerful destructive force of negative or criminal firearm use than a dozen films of this type! I bet that in this film, when a guy takes a round of jacketed hollow point to the torso he DIES...not like in the cop shows and all the films where "it's just a scratch".

We saw the same,exact right-wing negativity when Natural Born Killers was released. Lotta' people not smart enough to see past the obvious...

If you can't appreciate a movie for it's artistic and entertainment merits simply because it portrays irresponsible gun use, then you are definitely part of that segment of society who would be considered 'off-balance' when it comes to guns.
