I took this on my lunch at work in Hanley Park. It was very overcast and the colours weren't great so thought I'd try a B&W conversion using Silver Efex.

I think it is a lovely shot, but the very out of focus tree in the front left is a little annoying. I do like the dreamy effect in the picture, it goes very well with the older gentleman.

Nice BUT the tree kills it ... with a lot of work you could shop it out

I think the tree is fine, frames the image. It givea it the feeling that the viewer is intruding upon the scene.

That's what I was after, a sort of peeping through into the scene kind of thing. Nice when a photo divides opinion though!
