Good news for me anyhow

My 800mm nikon will be here thursday .Its a 3 yr old glass.But in supurb shape .Now ill get the shots ive always wanted to get .When wife and i go to africa this yr .i will be snapping pix .
I probably wont ever pick up my 600mm nikon.I may give to my friend as a birthday gift .

Honestly for quality long lenses 3 years old is nothing. Looking forward to seeing what you can capture with the beast (ps I hope you hired yourself a carrier to carry it around for you ;P)

Wife and i usually go around aug every yr .I have a brother that lives in cape town.

Should have some good ones if i dont get eaten up by a lion :lmao::lmao:.Course i carry a 30/378 when im out in the animals territory.

I cant sleep till it gets here on thursday .Ive got my dream glass.And hope i can aim it right .

The owner taught me to use the front stud on the hood and the hot shoe to line up on target like a rifle.

No sure dont i was using his equipment when we shot it .I didnt get any pics to keep .Ill try to see if he will send me some i took back then from 2 yrs ago .Even if he still has them .dont know till i ask and i will ask sho nuff.
