Finally bit the bullet and went big with the purchase of a Canon 20 D last week.
Figured since I am taking the NYIP course and would be shooting alot more, it would be cheaper to just shoot digital and only have to process the shots I send in for the photo assignments.
The learning curve in regards to digital is gonna be steep, but the cost savings in regards to film will keep my wallet happy. Still not abandoning film though. Just like the fact that I don't need to keep notes with the digital. Trying to record settings while shooting a motor race and watching it at the same time will drive anyone buggy.
