Very impressive! Wild felines are very elusive animals, esp those not in the African nations (were you've at least often got more unobstructed savannah to shoot/spot over - and where a fair few are now quite used to safari cars)/

I love bobcats, such a beautiful creative. Nice capture. I am still trying to get the ever elusive bobcat although we have several around here. One of the places we frequent has a family of them. Last year a fellow photographer capture mom with 5 babies...Quite spectacular.

Went back through the bobcat frames and run across this one. It is the one just before the one OP. It was under exposed a stop and a half. adjusted that and this is what jumped out. It was actually better light. I must have had it on spot metering and exposed for that bright spot. arrrrgh.

Excellent that is one of those- If you catch one quality goes out the window just because you were damn lucky enough to catch it in the first place. In this case you have both quality and a rare experience to photograph a awesome cat. Same goes for the Didereaux... Here is the closest I have gotten to a bobcat-
