Got a question about budget lenses

I have considered switching camera brands. If I did, I would look closely at Olympus, and that 4/3rds lens availability.

Point well taken about the WB. I will have to work that detail out. It would likely be helpful to learn how to use what I have before I toss it for another setup!

Sharper than Canon's "L" series in some cases...and equally sharp through all f/#. Good thing is it costs 1/3 as much. You could probably put a teleconverter on it too, though I don't know what the results would be like. If you want something a little longer, Sigma also offers some nice 50, 70, and 105 macro lenses that double well as tele lenses.
