Grafitti 1, is a much more interesting image than this one. Just wondering if you like the one you posted here better or something.

You think so ?? Guess I still wasn't sure about it..

Oh yeah! The first one is boring. The second has more going on, more context, rich colors...just overall more impact.

Second one looks much better to me too. Bitter pretty much said it all already...

Some graffitti is art. This is not it!

I think I agree with Forkie on this one. 2 is better than 1, but neither is very interesting. I think a better approach would be to get closer to the wall and create an abstract using portions of the graffiti and the varying textures of the wall. As Forkies states, this graffiti is not the artistic type and doesn't contribute favorably to the composition. Additionally, the curved nature of the wall when shot straight on looks like lens distortion. Perhaps shooting the wall from different angles other than straight on could add drama to the image. I think this is one reason #2 might seem better, as the hole in the wall breaks the negative impact of the walls curve.

street art rules. #2 is the best one

Definitely #2, a much more interesting texture and more vivid, which I think helps graffiti shots a lot.

I agree with this. For me both the pictures are rather boring and chaotic.

I don't know that I would (personally) call anything with Bitches and MS13 all over it "art" but the second picture is far more interesting and fun to look at.

I also like the second one much better than the first.

But here, the grafitti is not the subject. In this image, it's all about color, texture, shape, pattern and line. It's about how patches of color can help lead your eye around the composition. The window hole is another compositional tool called a pattern break. The curve of the wall is interesting because it fools you. You have to think and decide if it is distortion from a wide angle lens or a curved building. To me it's just another little thing about the image that keeps me looking at it. Of all the grafitti shots I have seen posted on this forum, this is by far my favorite. Almost all others have merely been documentation of someone elses work, and here, it is a work all by itself.

This image teeters on the border of abstraction, and representation. It's a decent example that shows you don't have to zoom in close to something to have an abstract image.

The window and the curved line really help the second image.

Lovin #2........nice job.
I'd say more but Bitter nailed it.
