So, which ones did you try, and how did they taste?

Geeezzzzzzzzzz Ron... you're just across the water and you didn't even call???? Granville Island brews are okay, and when they first started they were a novelty, but there are so many awesome microbreweries around now that there stuff is almost mainstream. If you do get over to the Island, try Hoyne or Moon Over the Water products.

Yah. Used to be that the beers were different because they were micro-breweries. Now, with so many micro-breweries, they also have to be distinctive enough to stand out. Making a basic ale or lager is good, but as Ron noted, nothing special. On a separate topic (Sorry, Ron!) John, are you in Victoria? We have a friend in Sooke, and extended family near Nanaimo. One of my daughters is living in Vancouver. So trips to that part of the world do happen.

Cool - I'm actually a Sooke Hillbilly myself, so if'n you gets out this-away, call!

Are you out here now, Ron? There are also some fine Brew pubs on the Island.

No, been home two weeks. Now just going through some of our pics to find some that may have interest on the forums.

We ordered two 16x20 prints of glacier shots my wife took & the damn UPS courier folded them. :grumpy: Now being re-printed.

Probably right in the middle of the "do not bend" sticker. Apparently reading comprehension is not a employment requirement.
