Great Blue Heron doing bird things

A GBH just hanging out in the weeds. I was able to get some what close in the boat but then it took off.

Good shots. Dark? Ummm, no I think they look like maybe it was an overcast day, but the color is pretty rich, without being clownishly over-jazzed. These read like the weather was softly-diffused overhead skylight, with very weak shadows, so no, they look about right, if that is indeed what the weather conditions were supposed to look like. (Seeing these on an iMac). some of these new phones have reallllllly super-saturated colors, which might make these seem dark, since the local contrast is somewhat gentle on this, so a really saturated display device I can envision would make these look darkish.

Thanks! It was a cloudy day but I kinda like that because everything is clear.

I edited these on my laptop which is all over the place so I am happy they are good.

Did you get these when you rented the 100-400? Sorry can't see exif right now.

Oopsie. Nevermind, I did a work around.

Looks like FF and 100-400 work well to me. The eagle shot is crazy good from what I can tell.
