It was quite an exciting moment.

Thanks for looking

Chris

Great series. 5 and 6 are awesome! I love Herons, my favorite non-raptor! My only thought is maybe a few have a blueish tint or maybe shadows just need to be raised a touch? Might be my monitor..

Great series! I have yet to get one deciding to fly off with its lunch--it always gulps it down right there on the spot, and often with its back turned to me.

I do agree, though, that some of them seem to have a bit of a blue color cast.

It's been such bad weather here, and I've really got cabin fever; just itching to get back out to my herons, or eagle or something!
More snow flurries and rain and clouds all weekend...may have to take a day off on Monday if it's nice. :D

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

You guys are right about the blueish tint. I struggled during processing as the light was strong and almost directly overhead. How would you suggest shunting the blues and creating a more pure white in the head? Still learning LR4 so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

After corresponding with ceeboy14. I have re-processed one of the shots - Is this better?
