Photos NOT OK to edit
Just a few black and whites from a series I did at Great Falls National Park in Virginia. Shot with a D3100 using natural light and a 18-55mm Nikkor VR lens.

1. Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: f/9.0
Focal Length: 28mm
ISO: 100

2. Shutter: 1/100
Aperture: f/7.1
Focal Length: 29mm
ISO: 100

3. Panorama - Stitched using Hugin.

I would like to see some color in number 1.
Number 2 is definitely the best among all, but would benefit from a tighter crop.
Number 3 doesn't seem to please my eyes.

That's awesome,Using natural lights effects.

Nice shots.. but :)

#1 so much is lost in shadows... with little or no detail. Sky is blown out in some areas... maybe a little less contrast in PP would help. It may not be as bad on the full size image

#2 Nice.. maybe a little tighter crop.. and the sky is seriously blown out. Maybe cut back on the contrast a little, or do some masking and modify contrast / brightness selectively.

#3 being a pano, can't see much detail on this size image.. but looks nice. The sky is blown on this one also... so much that it catches the eye and drags it away from the landscape.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I see what you are saying about the clouds being blown out. I'll try some masking in Photoshop tonight and repost. Thanks again.
