Took a trip out to great falls this past weekend...I'm still pretty new at this so bring on the C&C!

I think they are all good pics but #3 would be a wall hanger for me. Love the brilliant blue and the details in the clouds and the surrounding rocks give it a built in frame. I might clone out the "UFO" because it is a little distracting. It looks a little surreal and makes you wander for a sec if it is a digitally alterted scene; you can tell it is water but it makes you pause long enough to look carefully and I think this gives it a good deal of interest.

I like #7 as well but I think it may have been a tad better with a neutral density filter and a longer shutter to blur the water.

I think 3 is really great and I would keep the rock sticking out! I would have tried a long exposure of the falls to show the water moving like this

Thanks! I would have loved to try that, and actually thought about doing it, but I was worried I couldn't get a sharp picture since I don't have a tripod yet. I'll probably go back in a month or so, and I hope to try that than.

How long of an exposure does it take to get that effect?

I look forward to see the shots..

Nice pictures! As far as the length, play with the settings and you will find one that you like. Start fast and then move slower.
