New to photography. Bought a cheap Cannon Rebel camera and now I’m here. Looking for insight on a feature Im really curious about called, Bulb. Im heading to Scottsdale AZ next month and would like to shoot some desert scenes at night using the bulb feature on my cam. I would appreciate any advice you all might have for me.

Hello. I have a old rebel 12.5 mp I will be using in Scottsdale AZ in February. I will be jeeping around in the desert and want to take a few long exposure shots at night. Any recommendations for me to get prepared. I’ve got a tripod and will ne using a timer for the shots. I don’t have any practice with taking long exposures lol what would you recommend I work on to prepare myself?
