G'day everyone, it's been a while. :1219:

I collect vintage photography slides but am pretty clueless about the hobby still. My goal is to digitise these slides and, for some, make prints.

So, the venture back to this wonderful community will be to learn about all of the different types of slides, how to digitise them to the best quality possible and how to make beautiful prints.

When I've caught up to speed with some of you fine folks, I'll be able to help the newbies here and give back to the community.

Welcome back. It sounds like a really interesting project you are working on!

Hi welcome, I had an attachment for the camera that allowed one to photograph slides. Sadly I loaned it and have not got it back. It was a m42 mount I think old Pentax don’t know if something like that would work for you

Welcome aboard.

Many home scanners have a negative/slide holder built in to the top cover. Most common is 35mm but I have seen other formats available.

Hello and welcome.......

there are many multiple ways to do this.
including using a high mp count camera with a slide duplicator as previously mentioned.
Or use a slide reader that can be had on amazon or any photo retailer.
