Hello. I just found the site today . I'm renewing my interest in photography . I also participate in some audio forums . I was searching around for a Nikon D700 and found this site .

Scouring around the weeb , I found a Nikon D600 with a 18-55 and a 55-200 , plus batt and charger and bag .$577 USD . The problem is the lens are DX not FX . Never having owned a full frame , is this a huge problem for now ? It's for amateur use .

It shouldn't be ... the Nikon FX bodies will shoot in DX mode.

Hi . Thanks for replying . I've been doing a lot reading and you-tubing . I decided against the earlier listing as there were no returns (e-bay seller) . And in my quest have gained interest in a Nikon D610 . I have come to understand the crop factor a little , but if I'm to get a full fame , why not find a decent value (to me ) full frame lens ? The search continues :-)

Canon 5D mark ii , Canon zoom 75-300 f1:4-5.6 usm , charger+ 2 batteries , 2 CF cards , IFC-200U cord . All in very good condition . I spent $650 CAD ± . I was unable to upload some pics , will try again later . My question is regarding connecting to a macbook pro that is using os-Catalina . The computer does not recognize the camera at all via usb . Is there a way to get the shutter count without a connection ? I can read the CF card .

The Macbook will not see the camera as a storage device so it will not show in finder. You will need a program to offload images. If you don't have anything else you can go to Canons website and download their software.
Canon cameras require a third party software to get the shutter count. I believe the one I use is called shutter count (at work can't check).

Edit, found an image of mine of the software. It is called Shutter Count.

Thanks for responding . Shutter Count will see the Mark ii connected via usb ? Forgive the newbie line of questioning :-)
