Hey there! I took the plunge and joined, this looks like a great group, I am hoping to learn more. I'm from Wisconsin U.S., have been into photography for a long time, just as a hobby, but I'll admit it, I was lazy and set my camera on Auto, pretty much all the time. Decided it's time to knock that off and learn about the camera settings and explore.

Today I got myself a new camera, I'm so excited! I got the Canon EOS M100. Previous cameras were Canon Powershots, the SX40HS, SX530HS, and way back when, during the days of film cameras (kinda aging myself), my very first camera was a Minolta XG-7.

Welcome to the Forum. I've learned a lot here by just looking and even more by posting and getting comments. BTW, that is one beautiful King Charles!

Thank you for the warm welcome!!

LOL... yep, gotta love cheese!

Thank you, otherprof, the dog in my avatar is my Bentley. He was so sweet, sadly he has passed a few years ago (I currently have a half Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, I adore the breed so much), he was such a good dog for posing for photos and such a ham.
