Hi everyone,
Jovince here, new to the forum, but that you already guessed. Pleased to be here, hope we get along well.
Short Intro Done. Long intro follow
I'm a french Canadian living in the city of Montreal, Quebec (Canada) and I've had the chance to discover a passion for photography about 7-8 months ago. I got my hand on a Canon Rebel T3I ( equivalent to the EOS 600D in europe). I've also equipped myself with a mini-studio and some good lens (as the kit one sold here were just disastrous).
The story behind me starting photography, is that I got a 10 year background of digital photo-manipulation ( as a hobby), and I started to want to do my own textures with a decent camera, fell in love with the damn thing.
I've got most of my knowledge from lynda.com, and I started to want to interact with other photographer, hoping to learn and receive critiques for my work so I can eventually start a professional career in photography. And here I am.
You can look at my Deviantart ( some of the content, like description and journals are in french, but most of them got an english version as well ) for some of the work I've done ( I say some, because there's a minority there, I generally don't post my work that much, and it's mostly digital manipulation). jovince3000 Jonathan Vincelette - DeviantArt
