Grey heron (I think?)

I am pretty sure this is a grey heron. They are the ones we have here in Europe but they and the blue herons look pretty much identical to me

Also, these herons live at a local zoo but they are not part of any exhibits. Do they still count as wildlife then ?

Very nice image. It is a Grey Heron as there are no Great Blue's (GBH) in Europe, to my knowledge (unless someone is importing them ) and there are no Grey Herons in North America. It is my impression that the GBHs are slightly darker coloured than the Greys.
