i just went through all my shots from germany a couple years ago and realized that i've never done anything with them. So i started working on some of them, including this fellow.

For the most part I like this photo. I like the man, and the relationship to the dog, and the height. Something about the spacing feels a little off though- maybe if the grate wasn't cut off? And just curious- was the dog really that red? Looks like you pulled up the red in the photo for the bricks, but it does give the dog an odd, sunburnt sort of look...

he was very similar colour to the bricks it fact. i may play with him a bit though. although i like him matching.

The dog looks unnaturally red. Perhaps keep the tone, but bring down the saturation. I agree that something about the spacing is off, but the subject itself is promising. Try a closer crop and see if you like that.
