grip for 30d

i dont NEED a vertical grip for my 30d, but it would be nice to have. the canon one is a lot of loot and i dont have a million dollars ... i saw some off brand ones, one missing the wheel for adjustments when in you av/tv or m priorities. one with the wheel getting a bad review for not being snug. any recomendations on a vertical grip that has the same features as the canon in an off brand?
