Grizzly Bear Dozen

I visited a grizzly rescue center in Bozeman, Montana and captured the following photographs of a young bear named Max. He weighs 900 pounds and stands 7 feet tall--and he's still growing!

Max is terrifying, and would happily rip our throats out for a snack. Yet these beautiful shots make him look almost like a teddy bear.

....almost. Something about seeing those teeth...

Thank you, Terri...that's the thing about grizzlies--they look cuddly, but are so dangerous. I think his eyes look terrifying.
