I suppose you could do either, but with an inkcap, it won't do anything one way or another. Definitely needs some fae folk to dance around it. It came up this morning, that's just the bark from the soil. It's only about an inch tall.Do you eat it or snort it?
I recently learned that fungi are neither plant nor animal.
Sponges are animals.
Fungi are made of stuff more like the outside of insects.
The more you know.
Interesting picture. Needs fairies.
Looks like it went through some rough weather.
My research has left me with the conclusion that the left side makes you smaller & the right side larger

I know! Just go ask Alice! She'll tell ya!My research has left me with the conclusion that the left side makes you smaller & the right side larger.
Ps. The Mushroom ladys trial started here few days ago, she's never gonna cook a beef wellington again.
It's gone already, so it either melted already or the White Rabbit got it... I find the filamented cap very interesting with its texturing.Well that's funny. It wouldn't have occurred to me that it grew up on it through the debris.
I assumed it blew onto it. The top looks so coarse, it seemed logical that the wind was the culprit.
Plus it looks bigger than that. There wasn't a quarter or anything for scale. The DOF was deceptive.
You know what they say about people who assume...
They probably didn't have all the facts and they jumped to a conclusion.
