Hanging On For Dear Life!

[Flying Panda]

A cat got a hold of this young squirrel. Its back leg is injured, to what extent I can't immediately determine. It was trying to get up the tree but was having difficulty so I took it and placed it in a cage with unsalted nuts and water. I'll keep a close watch on it for a few days to see if it can recover enough to survive in the wild - if not I might have to put it down. I "understand" that nature can be cruel at times but I don't have to freaking like it.

I like the shot, looks like he needs a super hero cape! In fact it sounds like he could have used some super hero powers. Hope he fully recovers.
