I went out to the lake this morning to shoot some photos. The Osprey have migrated away for the year and will not be back until next Spring. We have a lot of Great Blue Heron on the lake. I must have seen 5 or 6 of them this morning. I was walking along the shore line of the lake when I saw these two Heron just waiting for a photo. Hank which is the closest one was about 50 yards away from me while the one in the background must have been a couple hundred yards away. I tried every which way to get both of them in focus at the same time. I even took the aperture up to f29 with the shutter set at 800 and the ISO was on auto at around 6500. These are some of the best shots I could get. Not some of my best work, but they were pretty neat shots.

That's a nice couple of pics. I like how the two are in the same orientation. I like #2 with the one in the foreground in focus. Nice try at getting them both, though.
