I've read The Hot Shoe Diaries. I actually really liked it. Lots of good info on small off-camera flash use. His writing style is pretty entertaining.

Hot Shoe Diaries is excellent. Especially if you are a Nikon shooter with auto flash gear.

Thanks for the replies. Hot Shoe Diaries came highly recommended by a friend of mine who actually knows what he's doing. My sister shoots alot on the beach and he said it would be great for her.

Hot Shoe Diaries is good. Definitely worth reading. The others? I've never heard of them. Might be good. Might be not!
