hey im just wondering if anyone here has tried focus stacking if they use close up filters?

I've done focus stacks with close up filters - macro lenses and teleconverters:

I've also done single shots as well (ie no stacking)

The key however is what close up filter/diopter/close up lens attachment you are using and on what lens. There are ultra cheap ones on the market that work but do so poorly, and there are much better optics (eg Raynox series and Canon 500D, 250D (the former also the name of a camera body as well as a close up lens).
