Hasselblad H1 eyecup

UGH the eyecup on my H1 (HV90X prism) keeps falling off. How would you guys recommend gluing it on there? It's driving me nuts.

Does the eyecup have a metal/plastic retaining ring that fits into a receptacle/frame/slot ... or does the rubber simply stretches over a frame? If the former and the eyecup's fittings are simply not tight enough, I suggest a thin/small strip of tape (gaffers/duct/gorilla) wrapped onto the receptacle/frame/slot to create more friction. The tape solved a similar problem with the eyecups on my EM5's. It the problem is the latter ... I dunno, Superglue would work, but it is a permanent solution which may not be the best answer.
