This is a portrait that I took of a stranger that I met in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. I pretty much asked him if I can take his portrait because I really liked his Havak Tattoo above his eyebrow and he said sure, without hesitation! Enjoy.

I'm not a fan of b & w but in this case it works well to communicate a grittiness. Not surprised the subject quickly agreed to the photo. If you're going to communicate to the world who you are via flamboyant decorations on your skin you need to be see.

The thing that hurts this one the most to me is that I only see half of the thumbs up, it is distracting only having part of it. Did you crop this in post?
