Have some questions about the basics.

Av is aperture priority and Tv is shutter speed priority (on a Canon anyway).

I primarily use a couple of Canon 20D cameras.

I really wish I would've gotten into photography sooner. I know I'm only 22, but I feel like I've missed out on so much!

Ok...that is what I figured. I also have a canon. Oh yeah, and in case you forgot, anything I can work on this weekend? Like some excersizes to practice? I just need a little direction

Do you still have anything for fall colors? All the leaves are long gone around here and it's pretty drab at the moment.

You could experiment with DOF. Get s subject, maybe a friend and go outside. Shoot them with small apertures and large apertures and see how the background changes. Try shooting with them in the background and something closer to the camera...try that with small and large apertures...try it while focused on them and try it while focused on the foreground objects.

Do you have a tripod? When using a very small aperture (say F22), the shutter speed will probably have to be pretty slow...so it would be good to have a tripod and fire the camera with a remote (or the self timer).

If the weather isn't good...you could always practice your post processing.
