took this at the zoo with my iPhone 4 with the HDR setting on (didn't have my T1i with me) i thought it came out pretty rad. let me know what you all think!

turtle by Dr.Mantis Toboggan, on Flickr

The HDR capture for the iphone isn't very good. I use the HDR pro ap and came up with these... The turtle is a also DEAD center in the photo. Cool idea, I like the reflection.

I know they have halos... They went straight out of the phone on to the computer...

The iPhone 4 has a decent camera (for a phone). With HDR pro and other apps like My Hipstamatic, you can have lot of fun with it.

these are cool! much better HDR with that app.

Phone camera with a cheap app... It is what it is. But that doesn't mean you cant have some fun with it.

"rad"

You've got the 'holy ghost' on the first two in particular, twotwoleft.

It's PERFECT! Print it, frame it, hang it on the wall!

i agree, tell that to gsgary..
you asked for c&c no need to get butthurt

im not butthurt. wasn't like i was trying to pass it off as a masterpiece, it was more a c&c on the subject not the quality of the camera... but if you and lyonsroar don't like it you don't like it, its all good...

it has nothing to do with the quality of the camera.

the subject is centered. the head is cut off because it is above the water, and you perspective is below, and it looks really weird. the background makes it look like the turtle is in a tank, which is probably is, but doesnt help the photo.

Alrighty then....

But it looks rad.
