Top 10 Best HDR Software Review 2012

However this is several years old and there is a lot of newer software available.

google Photoengine, it is terrific imho

Yes, Photoengine. That's Oloneo HDR and I have been using it for over two years. After testing almost all HDR programs (over and over again!) I bought Oloneo. The results from various programs varies, and is subjective, but the one thing that Oloneo Photoengine has is near real-time operation. That is, it is lightning fast compared to any other! I have little patience for slowwwww software especially when doing tests. OPE came out with a 'light' version last year, available for $59.00 which will serve most needs.

If you already have Photoshop CS5 it also has an HDR featire within it. It is not as extensive as many of the stand alone programs but it does do a very good job, at least using HDR to increase dynamic range and not to create special looking effects with it.

I disagree. CS5 HDR software is incredibly limited and does a really poor job handling ghosting. Also, halo-ing is much more of an issue in CS5.

Mods, if any of you read this, it would be incredibly nice to allow our HDR sub-forum to have a sticky on this subject since it gets asked a lot.

+1

In camera HDR is not too shabby. I don't have any software to do it, so I make use of my Pentax K-x built in HDR.

No HDR
