Wow... is that some weird chromatic aberration? Doesn't look like it's on the entire image.

Anyway, compositionally... kinda "meh". Cemeteries and their monuments are very hard to shoot effectively. You've got to get good environmentals or something really unique about the setting... or get in close to cover details. And even then... a very small subset of people will really enjoy them.

The ONE person I've seen who is a master at this is an old forum member named Chiller. His stuff was (is)briiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilliant.

Thanks for the comments. To each their own of course. Definitely not an award winning photo for sure just some crap to post for no other reason but to get reactions, just trying something different. I guess I should just post pictures of flowers with some water sprayed on them and it's the greatest photography anyone's ever seen. Also, why brag about someone's photos that's not even on this forum anymore and you can't show because you would be posting someone's image that's not yours. I guess I'll go out and find better environmentals or whatever word you made up.

I don't hate it...too much.

Actually it's a fine picture without the simulated 3D effect added, but I suppose it would still have a place in the world as it is.
You might want to post in creative corner or the just for fun galleries for experimental stuff, people here tend to pigeonhole everything into, it's right (the way they would do it) or wrong (any other way).
It kind of reminds me of 'The Talos Principle'

It's not really about liking it or not, everything is subjective. You don't need to pretend to like it that just insults mine and your intelligence if you have any that is. By the way I know where I'm posting and didn't ask for your opinion of where my post should be.

My strong suggestion would be to back up, re-evaluate the attitude by which you approach the responses you are being given, and consider a different approach.

I'm not going to ban you from the forum, but I genuinely presented my opinions on your image in an attempt to be helpful, and your response was far from constructive. You're new here, so... maybe getting used to things... but folks are not going to be inclined to stick their neck out if you're going to react that way.

You can say peace and love all you like, but actions speak louder than words. Even if you say the words twice.

The reason I mentioned Chiller, btw, was you can search for his posts. (another forum feature you may be unaware of as a new person, so maybe I should have specified). It's absolutely worth digging around to find his stuff if you have any interest in this sort of thing.

I'm just messing around mostly. I was trying to get a rise out of people just for fun and I now realize it didn't work. I've been around here for a couple years now and have received great advice and constructive criticism. I appreciate the mention of the better cemetery photographer I'm just not that interested to go back and find his post. I've seen my share of amazing photography (some of it on this forum) and some on people's phones that aren't even "photographers". Photography unfortunately as a medium is dead (no pun intended) everyone has pictures of everything and there is really nothing new. Perhaps if you make large prints and frame them your doing what most aren't but digitally sharing pictures to try to get someone to like it is lame. It's similar to trying to explain to someone why you enjoy a certain style of music.

kinda has a "weeping angel" (from Doctor Who, for any non-whovians) feel to it.
i would almost look at it and expect the tardis to be in the background!
i dont really mind the CA here, kinda fits with the overall feel of the image.
