Anyways, my name's Derek and I'm a young photographer who aspires to one day be doing professional commercial photography, preferably for bands and other people. Right now I'm really into the hyper-realistic stuff of photographers like Dave Hill and Joey Lawrence. I'm still in high school, and am unsure of what I want to take in post-secondary.

I'm really interested in travel and hope that my job will take me to far off places someday. I'm also interested in music (I play drums in a band) and traditional art, graphic design and illustration.

I've started my own photography and design business through a program called summer company (with the Ontario government) and will be pursuing that throughout the next couple months and hopefully into the next few years.
