Hi, I'm from upper Michigan and I've been doing photography for a little less than a year now as hobby. I do it just for fun, and I thought a forum would be helpful for feedback and learning. I use my dad's Nikon D40x with just the basic lens that it came with and my sister's Canon rebel because I have little money to spare. Here's some stuff I took- tell me you think. Thanks. (also I need to learn how to post photos in-thread so it isn't so annoying for you guys) edit: ok I understand how to post pics now

Hello jazz.

Can you use the picture button to embed your images? All you have to do is press it and then enter the url to your image.

The image button is square icon with what appear to be two mountains and a sun in it.

I like the boat photos, I think they are good. The dog photo is to close to the subject. The last macro is good.

I can't comment on the first few photos as I am not fan for B/W photos. All in all the first boat photo is the best.
