Hello, I am from the Jersey Shore (Central NJ) and found these forums just browsing around on Google for more info on camera's and equipment.
My wife and I recently received a Canon T5 as a wedding gift and I've been using it to take a lot of landscape (mostly night) shots, learning from our friend (who was our wedding photographer) who's been shooting for a few years and is very good at it. He's taught me a TON about shooting and now that I'm getting into the hobby I'm looking into learning more and more about camera's and lens options especially.
Currently I'm looking for a wide angle zoom lens so I can capture more in my photo's since I've got a crop sensor camera. My friend shoots with a Canon 5D Mark III with a few lens options but his main one is the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens, which is such a nice lens.
I'm hoping to pick up a wider lens and have narrowed it down to a few options:
Anyway, hello and I hope to hang around and learn as much as I can!

I'm hoping to pick up a wider lens and have narrowed it down to a few options:
- Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens
- TokinaAT-X 116 PRO DX-II 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens for Canon Mount
- Tamron 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 DI-II LD Aspherical (IF) AF Wide Zoom Lens
Anyway, hello and I hope to hang around and learn as much as I can!
