---HELP--- Canon Rebel battery died during photo dload with EOS Utility - Images Gone

I was downloading the images off of my card this morning, when the battery died. I recharged the battery, and when I selected preview on the camera, the card was showing empty. Is there any way of recovering the images from the pint onward that the battery died?

There are several memory card data retrieval utilities, Google is your friend.

There are utilities available, but something I'd recommend in the future is a memory card reader so that you're free of the issue of the battery dying on you while you're in the middle of an upload and losing your photographs.

There are a number on the market and they can be found online at Adorama, B&H, or another similar site. If you'd rather shop an actual store, Best Buy, your local retailer or even a Ritz Camera should have them in stock. They are typically USB dedicated and you just plug it in, and you're off! This will also give you the option of transferring them to multiple machines in the event that you need/desire to.
