Help for Nikon D800

I am having trouble with my Nikon D800. Whenever I take several photos quickly in a row, each shot comes out at different exposures. The first one is over exposed, the next is perfect, the next is darker and the next is so dark you can't see it...etc. I have tried changing numerous settings and can't seem to fix this problem. Does anyone have a solution or know what I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance!

See if the BKT control is engaged....my bet is that you have the camera set to automatically bracket the exposures.

Thank you so much! I hadn't even realized it had gotten changed. Evidently I did it on accident.
