Help! Half of 3.5mm mic peice is stuck in my camera jack

Hey everyone, I have been recently using a wired mic, and shot gun mic. However one of my male ends of the mic broke off into the camera. So half of the piece is in the jack and I can not get it out! I was wondering if you had any tips of to get it out of my camera D: Perhaps bringing it to a camera shop and seeing if they could do anything. Any tips or suggestions would gladly be appreciated.

Yeah, a camera shop would be the best bet.

Those things are really hard to get out, sometimes very fine tweezers can help if a wire is still hanging from it.

Most of the solutions to this that I've seen involve a tiny drop of superglue on the end of something to stick down the hole. Touch it to the broken off piece, wait a minute, then pull it out. The other half of the broken jack that you have might work well for that purpose. If you decide to try this, be careful not to gob up the inside of the hole with superglue - proceed like a brain surgeon.
