I'm a complete noob at PP. How do I get rid of (or minimize) the effect of this green stage light while still keeping the skin tone relatively natural looking?

Thanks in advance

Man that one is a toughy. I just messed around with it in photoshop for like fifteen minutes. No quick fixes that I can see.

what was it shot with? also in RAW or jpeg?

its the white balance its waaaaaaaaaay off (it seems)

it can be fixed i think, but its tough since the white balance is so GREEN

this is about as best as i got..... lol, its a toughy, and i still got a bit of green showing up...

did they shine a green spotlight on the guy? someone call john legend, we've found the green light he's been looking for

For future reference:

Takes about two seconds to correct. Just put it in light room and click the "hard right" button on both temp and tint.

Wallah... you have a normal looking picture. Just did it, but don't want to make the effort of posting.

here you go... no green. :D

But an overabundance of red. Look at his hair. However, its certainly better than the original photo, but the colors have been pushed in other areas (the hair, guitar base, guitar neck).

thanks guys for the help! yes, there was a big o stage light shining on the guy. he asked a photo for PR, but the green's no good...

so what can i do in the future to take a decent picture in this condition?
shoot in RAW? put a filter on?

yeah, did black and whtite last night, worked out great
