Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I went out on a nature/photography walk on Sunday at a local state park and took some photos. I've noticed that one of my favorites from the day suffers from some pretty bad chromatic aberration around the bird. Can anyone explain how to, or if it's possible to fix this?

Upon just looking at it, I realized that it's a little soft and now I'm not as fond of it. Regardless, is there any way to fix the CA?

Desaturate the blue channel, should do the trick. Also, see if you can recover more detail from the bird - maybe with some localized burning (or my screen may be a bit bright).

Looks better, but the image is so small it's hard to evaluate definitively...but at a broad level, I'd say "better".

Would it be helpful for me to post a larger picture? I really like how nicely the CA went away, but I really struggled with bringing out some more details in the bird. Desaturating the blue and doing some slight burning helped a little I think. Can you tell?

I think the fix came out good

I think the picture would be nicer if the crop was a bit 'wider'
maybe a tiny bit off the top and bottom accordingly?

Edit:
Sorry I realized you weren't looking for CC on this.

There is also a purple fringe killer action in photoshop floating around that is awesome. It's actually called,"purple fringe killer"

Of course, will only fix purple/red fringe...

Fixing CA is a routine part of my workflow. If you shoot in RAW, it's a breeze. I'd guess around 75% of the photos I take need some adjustment.
