Help with Fujifilm S1600 add-on's

I've seen some of the extended lenses for digital models such as the Canon 40D, however looking around there doesn't seem to be anything (not even professional filters) that are compatible for the S1600.

It may be that i'm looking in the wrong place but does such a lens exist? or being a amateur am I misled into thinking that any lens is compatible with any model, so long as the mm fitting is correct.
