Here is my take,



I've removed the outline as I found it a little distracting. It's something that can easily be added and removed depending on the situation you want to use it in.

You don't need much to make it pop and I think does the trick.

What is your ppi? Increase your ppi, or use vector graphics. Make your background transparent as well. I have two watermarks I use, one light color and one dark color. This way, on dark images you can use your light colored watermark, and opposite on the light images. Save it as something rather than jpg like others are saying. Maybe PNG, or some type of lossless file.

Just like GIMP is an open source alternative to Photoshop, Inkscape is an open source vector program. Check it out. If you are having trouble designing a logo then I suggest you hire a graphic designer. You know how annoying it is when people don't value your skill as a photographer and think they can do it themselves by watching youtube videos instead of hiring you? It's the same for graphic designers. Just some food for thought.

Photoshop has vector tools, so you don't need to do it in Illustrator but you do need to make it a vector graphic.

I'm aware that you can create vector images in photoshop, but personally I prefer the tools in Illustrator much better when it comes to logos. Personal preference though.

For a logo that is only text and a simple shape Photoshop's vector tools and functions will work, but you're right, logos are best made using a vector graphics application like Illustrator, or Inkscape.

as mentioned, you really need this designed in vector graphics. whether it's photoshop, illustrator, inkscape, or the best program corel draw. make sure it's in vector.

TamiAZ, DWAC will have fire, thunderbolts, guns on their logo where MWAC will have swirls on the font and words like belle, shutter, sun, etc. I hope you get what I was saying.

I'm going to admit, I'm another one that thought it was Lilybelle. Looking at it now I still think it's Lilybelle.

If you change just one thing then it would be that thing that is apparently an 'n'. You don't want your logo to be at all ambiguous to anybody. Out of the few that have responded I think that two people not understanding is two too many. Maybe we just can't read, my A Level in English Language would disagree, but you might have to sacrafice pretty writing for legible writing!

It is Lilly Belle....OP...I'd suggest a paruse over on FB for this same name and see what the photogs are using for their logos and how they look against their work...It might be helpful for you and give you some ideas to how this style of logo might look on the type of work that you wish to do.
