Help with noise

I recently bought 5Dm3,and I'm having problem with noise shooting inside the low lighting room. Tips on how to improve these images?

what lenses are you using? any with IS so you can shoot at lower shutter speeds?
camera settings?

what software are you using? what NR techniques? (I just move the slider for the most part)
I find LR's noise reduction to be pretty good. just got the free NIK package which has Dfine for NR. haven't tried it yet.

I like auto ISO. I usually set mine to max at 3200. everything else is manual.
even if you need ISO 6400, its better to shoot at ISO6400 if it gets you proper exposure than to underexpose and have to bring it up almost a stop in post. 5DIII should handle high ISO as good as anything else really.
you may have some noise at those ISO levels, but hopefully nothing a little LR wont easily fix without too much softening.
darker areas show noise the worst.

Oh yeah, I shot around 125-160 shutter speed at f/4 aperture.

I'm thinking about renting 24-70 f/2.8. Is that sufficient?

noise looks perfectly reasonable for the situation and ISO you were at...

if you have a problem with the noise in those images, next time: put your camera on a tripod, kill all your subjects, strap their dead bodies into chairs, and take the picture at 100 ISO with a 5 second shutter.

Well, an organizer has a crop sensor with f/1.4 lens. His photos look much cleaner than mine.

You're shooting at 6400 and F/4.5.

f/1.4 is just over three stops of light. So at the same shutter speed, your organizer can be shooting at 800 ISO.

800 ISO on a crop body is going to probably look a lot better than 6400 on your 5D. The glass could also be better as well and improve IQ.

I think your shots look fine as far as IQ goes, especially when reduced in viewing size. MUCH better than the recent Bernie Sanders shots that popped up over the weekend.
